Just 2 miles south of the Salt Air Inn & Suites, the Jacksonville Beach Pier is an amazing place to experience the beach while visiting the area! It's a quarter mile long walk over the ocean, so you really get to feel how free it is to step out of the normal day to day activities and soak up the ocean breeze! There are fishing rod rentals available for rent, or you can bring your own if you want to cast a line out. There is a fee to walk and fish, but if you tell them you are staying at the Salt Air, they will give you the local discount.
